Experiencing the heyday of Tyrant at The Bomb in Nottingham left an indelible mark on Matthew’s musical outlook. His stripped back grooves pay homage to the raw sounds he was exposed to early on. These experiences inspired him to start making his own music, which lead to releases on Nottingham based Shrink Records, Multivitamins and Connect Four. He now works closely with Leftroom, Retrofit and Sammy Dee’s label, Ultrastretch. Other releases include collaborations with Nick Lawson on Visionquest, Fear of Flying and also Leftroom. [more]
